Also, phytohormones and compounds that allow the plant to bind with and compete for nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: filson-pro-book; font-size: 18pt; color: #708e41;\">Some of the main metabolites produced by this bacterium include Iturin, Fengicin, Surfactin, Bacilomycin, among others, which have fungicidal action by inhibiting enzymes that are essential for phytopathogenic fungi.
